The lessons I learned in 2023
Happy New Year!
With every new year there’s a chance for reflection of the past and goal setting for the future. And while we don’t want to dwell on the past and get stuck, it’s important to reflect on the lessons learned from the last year and prepare to move forward.
Without reflection we run the risk of getting stuck in bad habits and patterns of behavior that don’t serve us well. Awareness allows us to make changes that will open up the door for new and different opportunities which ultimately can make our lives better.
But we need to be willing to accept change, no matter how uncomfortable it feels.
Listen in as Anna shares her thoughts about:
- The importance of good health and mindfulness
- How we ALL bring something valuable to every situation
- Why you don’t want to be the smartest person in the room
- Creativity and how each of us is creative in our own ways
Journal Prompts:
- How do you want to FEEL in this new year?
- Who inspires you?
- Who can you learn from?
- What did you learn about yourself in 2023?
- What do you want MORE of in 2024?
- What do you want LESS of in 2024?
Quotes to Remember:
- Success is not a straight line.
- “When people show you who they are, believe them the first time.” Maya Angelou
- “Your life does not get better by chance – it gets better by change.” Jim Rohn
- “It always seems impossible until it’s done.” Nelson Mandela
